20-years ago, today as a college sophomore I set my college 10,000m record before I transferred to another school to follow our coach. I never thought the record would last this long but happy see I still hold something from my running days.

That’s a very interesting story. I’m so glad you shared it with us.
What was your time?
1. 29:00-30:00 - very impressive
2. 30:00-30:40 - National class, D2 and D3
3. 31:00-31:30, D2/D3 - contribution in cc Season for points
4. 32:00-33:00, good solid D2/D3 runner.
As someone who never set an individual collegiate record, I’m really jealous. I wish I was you. That’s for ruining my day by rubbing it in my face
Nice job!
I coached a high school team about 25 years ago and we had a nice period of success during which a number of athletes set records that still stand (some of them would be more attributed to my assistant coach, to give credit...). On one hand I am glad the records still stand as a testament to all the work that went into it, but on the other hand I wish they had all been smashed over and over.
So, do you wish your record had been broken?
Today, at age 40, what is your 10K road time ?
