Why is this? And do we support segregated gyms?

Just because there is a strong tradition of homosexual culture among some male physical fitness practitioners doesn't mean we're all gay, so speak for yourself.
It is not really men it is mostly women that want women only gym time. Probably because they don’t want to be hit on, stared at, or be self conscious that men are judging their looks or what exercises they are doing.
Just open up any thread on a woman runner here and you will find some poster commenting on her looks instead of her performance.

Irony--attention craving woman recording her workout live while posting on insta for her 100k followers she gladly attracts gets mad when random guy looks her way at the gym.
clickbait topic title
It is very annoying that the article doesn’t give the gender split. I’m sure many men would support it too but nothing in the data there with breakdown by gender.
Theres also a big difference between supporting them and wanting them. Personally I support the idea of some existing for those who want that, but don’t care at all myself so would not say I want them
Uhhhh hello????????? Based department?
The best sessions are late night when no one at all is around except maybe the cleaner (couldn't gaf if they're a man or woman)
Having said that, a large proportion of Gen Z seem to have have been conditioned my social media clickbait bottom feeders to distrust, perhaps even despise the opposite sex. Many young men see women as a potential false rape allegation (among other things), and many young women see men as a potential rapist (among other things). Least chill generation

They say these things, but then dress up in the most sexually provocative gym outfits and take pictures of themselves the whole time. Women complaining about these things are also either delusional/paranoid or subtle-bragging that men are always looking at them and coming up to flirt. For the most part, nobody is thinking about them when they're working out, to think that people are is just narcissistic delusion.
