So I can run low 14's and weigh 155lbs. I always wondered if there's any cases of super fit, obese guys turning up to races and dusting people? Now I guess that sounds pretty oxymoronic, but if I ate enough calories whilst running 100mpw then I could get up to 250 lbs.
How fast do you think I could run? Would I be able to turn up to the local park run and just dust everyone? Idk how reasonable that is but it sounded pretty cool in my head
I got my 400m down to 64 seconds at 227. Anything past 400m was tough. I lost a bunch of weight and while longer distances got exponentially easier, my 400 only improved slightly.
If it's pure body fat then I'd be impressed if you went sub-20
I weigh right around 235 so I'm kind of close. About 10 years ago I ran a 22 minute 5K at that weight. I used to weigh 265 when I started running but I didn't run any races then. Of course, I have a large and tall frame so the weight is evenly distributed.
