My 5k PR is similar to yours. However, my threshold is seriously underdeveloped.
I personally like doing a workout like 6x5’ w/ 60” rest @6:15ish pace better. I got this pace from my 15k Pr. I like that it is an easier workout and I can save my legs for the work that “actually makes me fast” like Vo2 max and R-pace reps on the track. I am currently training for sub 5 mile (currently 5:04), though so ymmv.
Also, I try to use the treadmill for threshold as much as possible to avoid going too fast in the early reps and to guarantee I stay at T.
