USA unis are Ugly

The women's uniform is terrible! Isn't that just the same as the Great Britain women's uniform?

Because they are by Nike. For at least the last 15 years, Nike designers across all sports seem to be addicted to having their gear "stand out" by having unnecessary stripes, patterns, and other elements that just make the gear look super busy. Think of the Seahawks jerseys in the NFL as a good example from outside of track.

Except for national team soccer jerseys where almost everyone looks the exact same. Maybe some variation in the away jerseys, but there is no imagination in most of the home versions.

For the past 3 or 4 world championships I've been frustrated that there is no cohesive design for Team USA and it looks like this will be more of the same. You can have 3 athletes in the same race that all look different. I'm fully behind giving the athletes options, speed suit or singlet, half tights or shorts, but the pattern should look the same across the board. Take Team Kenya for example, geometric pattern top, black bottoms, an actual recognizable team.

Needs to be designed by Burberry or polo or Versace or some sh!+

I agree! The women's costume covers too much down below. They should take off about 30-40% of the material. I mean after all, they spend big money on their tattoos and I know they want us to all see them.

Men's could be worse but what happened to just picking red or blue and putting USA on the front.

Enough of the muddled colors. Some primary colors and some Wonder Woman stars would be refreshing actually.

That is an off-putting red trim on the women's uniform to distinguish it from the UK team. Like an Amish pinafore look that is a weird contrast with the extremely narrow and high cut of the bottoms. The seams look uncomfortable and no one on their period is going to wear this. Asking for wardrobe malfunction in the field events.
