I live on Vancouver Island, it’s a runners paradise. PNW weather, beautiful scenery, trails if that’s your thing. We have a fantastic race series that goes throughout the winter. Best weather in Canada.

He said "full of jobs"
not really an expert, but I live here now.
Vancouver is the only weather where u could comfortably train outside year round. However, cost of living in Vancouver is insane. Worse than Seattle.
In other parts of the country, it might not be safe to be out running by yourself. Namely, in mountainous areas, like Banff or Canmore, Alberta. I have an acquaintance who goes out by himself, hunting and fishing; he's been attacked not once, but TWICE by a bear. two separate occasions.
That being said, Canada is AMAZING to visit in the summer, like in Alberta where it's dry (as long as there aren't forest fires). B.C. is amazing in the summertime, too.
Basically, it's a nice place to visit, but not the best running weather all year. (though obvi people do live here and run year 'round)
Also, I know nothing about Eastern Canada, lol.
All I know about Ontario is : they have giant dock spiders that can run on water in their lakes, google it!
