With the current progression and times from Quincy Wilson, is it within his range to qualify for the US trials, and then make it to Paris?

Would love to see him in the finals at the trials. It would be a crazy story. How did Norman do at the trials when he was a sophomore?
Norman and Lyles were both seniors in 2016 and got 4th and 5th in the 200. It'd be cool to see Quincy at the Trials but really hard to see him making it through the rounds
So far he has the 3rd fastest US mens time, but we'll see how long that holds up

Ok, so 2014 was an off year. How did he do in 2015 (WC trials) as a junior?

historically, you are going to need to run in the neighborhood of 44.6-44.8 to place top 3.

He doesn't have the strength/base to get through the rounds of an Olympic year but I do think he will run a 44.4ish. I see him 44.9 in the heats and then crashing out in the semis.
In 2020 trials, four men ran 45.0 to 45.17 to make the finals. I could definitely see him doing that.
He makes the final and maybe for the relay
Think a good goal for him this time around is to get in the final and the relay pool. I am certainly rooting for him!
Imagine Quincy Wilson and Matthew Boling battling for the final spot. That would be a sight to behold!

No not Paris. Although I would like to see him make the relay team at least. The 400M is hard on the body and navigating rounds at this level is more stressful. But it would be something wonderful if he did make the team in the individual event.

Jonathan Simms just let me know you didn’t do much research.
