Currently training/trained for a Halfie with long runs, tempo runs and easy runs. and is expected to run around sub 2 half marathon.
After this week half marathon how should I train for 800m?

Your title says 'while training for half marathon' but you post says 'after this half marathon how should I train'... Are you training for both at the same time, or are you going to be done with the half and now training for the 800? Either way, going from 3:00 to 2:20 in the 800 is a big jump, and simply focusing on accomplishing that jump will also help your half marathon. Find me a 3:00 800 runner and then find me a 2:20 800m runner, the 2:20 guy will also be faster in a half marathon simply because they're a significantly better runner. When you're running pretty fast you have to be efficient, and being efficient will help you in every long distance.
You'll want to do some strength work and plyometrics and some short sprints in the 10-40 meter range once or twice a week as part of your workouts. A common one even 10k runners do is flying 40s or flying sprints. You accelerate for 20 meters, sprint full on for 20 meters, and then gradually slow down and not immediately hit the breaks.
Seems unlikely. That's a big jump. What's your all-time 800m PR?
umm 2:40 or 2:30 but this was when I only trained for 100m and 200m
Im done with the half
My PRs are 2:28 in 800 and 1:34 HM. And my HM is very weak. Hope this gives you some context on how different sub-2 and 2:20 are.

If you can currently run 3:00 for 800m, and your PR is 2:30 (at best), then you have a very, very difficult task to get under 2:20. Good luck!
P.S. Huge difference between "umm 2:40 or 2:30"
