and no we were always present in the "mile" during the last 20 years.
Abdelati Iguidir you will never find anything about him (do your hard working investigations):
1. U20 World champion 2004 with competition record 3 mins 35
2. 1 Gold medal WC indoor 2012
3. 2 Bronze medals (Olympic + WC)
Despite the hard investigation and medias rumors none found anything about El Guerrouj.
I have been doing my investigations the latest days and people were hurt by my accusations.
You know this has nothing to do with Lance Armstrong who was pursued with rumors and claims since 1999.
Dies of jealousy.
Heard some rumblings amongst the common folk of Morocco about Khaled Hamil. In this day and age, kids are running faster and faster. Could be the next great distance runner following the lineage of El G and many others.
Khaled Hamil could be the the first man since El G in 2004 to win the double gold in the 1500/5K in Paris. Locals say he did 30x400 (rest unknown) all sub 60, closed sub 50. With that type of fitness, Chetegei and El Gs records might call by 2025.

MAGMA
Moroccan locals have stated that Khaled may have done 15x1K at 2:40 down to 2:15. Probably averaged around 2:30. Heard this was done at 6,000 feet. Khaled is also rumored to be 22 years of age and unsponsored, so he could potentially be entering the NCAA as a true freshman soon.
I heard great things about Khalid.Coach Alberto Durami said he is the most exciting prospect since Morceli. I also read he ran sub 5 in hist first mile race at 12. The sky is the limit for this kid. I can see him breaking the Moroccan national record, which isn't exactly weak.
I picture Passant and Aussiestatsman sitting in a dark office with only the shine of their 2010 desktop computer to light the room. The demure glow of the yellow Letsrun site reflects off of their glasses. It smells of stale magazines and old coffee. They are perched in a fake leather chair with cracks in the material on the arm rests and a stained and faded white mouse, belying their dedication to endless threads. Sounds of traffic with motorbikes and an occasional taxi honk occasionally breaks the silence. Over and over they answer their own posts, one desperately arguing his own tangled points, and the other displaying a massive knowledge of athletics to unappreciative eyes. One driven by anger and the other education, a passion to athletics their common theme.
any updates on Khaled? Haven't heard much recently. Some are saying he may be sponsored now??
