I'm getting near the end of my training cycle for my goal race of a half marathon. Here's my basic plan:
10 days out - Final long run workout (15 miles trying to run a decent pace most of the way, finishing strong but still controlled the last 4 miles or so)
7 days out - Final "hard" workout, 6 miles of threshold pace reps plus some strides
4 days out - very light threshold workout with some strides
3-1 days out - just run easy and maybe do some strides, lower mileage these days
Thoughts?
