Dk why this has equal part down votes. There isn't a good reason to miss 3 drug tests in a calendar year. An athlete should have to face tough questions the rest of their career if they make the choice to skip that many tests.
I think all missed tests should be published. We dk if Coleman was missing 2 tests/year before he messed up & missed 3. What if he's missed 30 tests in his career? It should be public info but it isn't. It seems like the sport has no issue welcoming people coming back from whereabouts with open arms because they technically didn't get caught. If I'm a meet director, I'm not inviting those athletes. There should be consequences. The least of which should be someone from LRC asking about it.
When will Coleman inevitably miss his next test? He will do it again, and we all know why he's missing the test. For the sport to be more respectable, there should be no missed test allowed. Missing would have to provide one-time exceptional proof of legitimate emergency.
LRC logic: whereabouts failures are worse than positive tests because of the excuses explanations for positive tests are hilarious believable.
That 3rd missed test man.....
By the time i'm on the books for 2, for whatever reason, as a clean athlete I would have 6 phone numbers listed on the app, and a team of coaches and family answering my door and watching my Ring doorbell. chasing down FedEx guys walking away from my door just in case they were testers. asking the maid walking away from my hotel room if she was here to test.
I would call WADA and the AIU personally every single day to check in, have a chat, make sure they know I'm good to go.
I would drive to the airport and have a romantic chase scene to the gate to meet the tester that I missed at my door before he got away.
What do we get instead? stories about how the 3rd one was the testers fault, and appeals for technicalities on which day the 365 days technically falls on. bullshi t
Of course this thread is correct. But too many woke people on here who wont accept any criticism of a black man. Rojo and wejo remain impartial to their credit, and get called racist for their trouble.

That's a reasonable take.
I just find the arbitrary nature of who gets vilified and who gets excused on LRC frustrating. Treat them all the same. Not implying that you don't. Just saying that LRC as a website doesn't.
If you're going to continually ask one athlete about an infraction from several years ago, ask all who have had previous contraventions. That would be reasonable. Cheaters should always be reminded of their cheating. But chastising one cheater while excusing another is just journalistic cheating.
Again, your take is reasonable (and one that I actually agree with.) RoJo has an agenda (clicks) which is distasteful and he should be called out at every instance just like he thinks that Coleman should.
For the 10000000 time, no one is saying CC is above criticism or is innocent. We just see the inconsistencies in who gets asked 'tough questions' and who is tossed softballs despite CURRENT 'gray area' or 'sketchy' things going on within those camps.

Controversial opinion; CC would run faster without drugs. But old school practices prevail.

For sure -- LRC should apply it equally if they aren't. Do they only ask Coleman but not other people who have been suspended for whereabouts?
