I'm looking for comparisons between Nike, Adidas, Puma, On, etc. I've only tried dragonfly. I'm looking to run 1500m and 5000m.

I prefer the cloudspike 10k for 800-5000 and the dragonfly (or a pair of super shoes as the NCAA doesn't ban them) for the 10000m.
they're basically all the same
Pretty much this, the cloudspike 10ks are the perfect 1500 / 5k spike and you should translate well to them if you liked the Dragonflys.
The poster above said "they're basically all the same" but it's more accurate to say "they're all comparable depending on what you prefer and need", almost any major brand have comparable spikes.
From my personal experience the Asics Metaspeed LDs are comfortable, cushioned and nicely explosive though a bit stiffer than most spikes (also on sale for super cheap at Running Warehouse if you care about prices). I've heard good things about the Avantis and NB MD / LD-x line as well...
You can't go wrong with the d-flys, they work from 800-10k and are not as extreme feeling as many other super-spikes, due to the flex of the plastic plate vs a carbon plate. The nike zoom x victory is very aggressive for example, extremely propulsive but very stiff and also unstable. Takes a certain type of mechanics to work with it.
The original new balance md x is very light, feels more like a classic spike but the benefits show in your times. More 800-mile oriented (easily 400 for some) than the dragonfly.
The ldx is very very fast. It's insanely bouncy but also very stiff. There is zero flex to it. It's basically like a zoom x victory that you can wear for long races too. Beware though the stiffness is hard on the achilles for some runners.
The new mdx sucked when I tested the proto bc both the upper and the foam were worse than the ldx and og mdx. But maybe they improved it from the proto version.
Female coach having affair with male runner. Should I report it?
If Daniel's and Pfitz are outdated..then where do I look for modern training plans?
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
