We have the sprinters but for whatever reason it’s not in their plans to race at the indoors. Lots of our best athletes are missing it this year. I guess they’re focusing on outdoors and Paris.

It is frustrating to be sending so few athletes though especially as the host nation.

Because no one takes indoors seriously except for those that take the opportunity to get medals because the top guns aren’t there

The travel might seem like too much this year. It's an olympic year, so they're probably trying to stay close to home and prepare for that.
