I live in a city that is somewhat elevated - my house is located at 680m (2230 feet). I also routinely go to train outside the city at right around 1000m (3280 feet).
I have always wondered if there is any benefit (even if marginal) to living at the elevation I live. Or even my weekend trainings at 1000meters.
When most people talk about elevation, usually they are talking about 2000+ meters (6560+ feet) like Flagstaff, Eten, Sierra Nevada, etc. But, you also have a lot of athletes in Albuquerque (1619m / 5312 feet) and Provo (1387m / 4550 feet).
Where does the cutoff begin for benefits to "slight" elevation?
