Add another log to the Kerr hater fire, Kerr called this on several podcasts in January and the end of last year. Wynne still has the ability to regress and let the pack swallow him up as in previous years, though.
Wynne has been trying....and trying and trying....and trying for a team spot since he won NCAA indoors. It seems somewhat Sisyphean at this point and maybe indicative of his (lack of) talent.
Why would you say he has no talent? The poster said that he can't make a team due to his lack of talent if not for lack of talent, it is lack of effort. I am going with lack of talent.

yeah totally - cause a 3:51 miler who trains with josh kerr has no talent
No, he's not underrated. In fact, as this thread shows, if anything, he's overrated!
It's clear who he is: He's a 29 year old who's never gone under 3:34, only run 3:34 4x, never made a team, or gone to the DL.
On the all-time lists, he's back around JMac and Russell Brown, and neither of them had modern shoes or lights.
I'd say it's a little late to be thinking he's going to make a team, even indoors. That's just not who he is or how he runs.

I agree with most of what you’ve said, though I don’t think the lights have much of an impact on 3:34 guys. The thing you can say about Wynne is he performs well in championships. 3:34 is pretty commonplace time but he generally finishes pretty high up relative to his PB.
