Women's pole vault sees Katie Moon passing three heights and Sandi Morris two. Looks like eight competitors will be going on to 4.50 (14'9"). Three women have the standard: Moon, Morris, and Bridget Williams. I believe Morris is already on the team by virtue of a wildcard.

T&F must be the only sport where your best runner sets the wr in the semi of a national championship and then simply doesn’t bother to run the final because why bother. Such a strange and frustrating set of incentives in this sport.
Four of five pass 4.65 to save energy for later. WCS is 4.80 (15'9"). Only Brynn King jumping at 4.65.
Not sure why King passed 4.60. She is currently out of the money in 7th, but if she would have attempted and cleared 4.60, she would move to 5th ($1,000).
Pretty lame that the World Record holder is in town and doesn’t even care enough about a national title to race. Something in the sport needs to change.
