I'm looking at her instagram right now and wondering how she's able to build that type of muscle. Her power clean right now is more than mine pretty much. I think I saw a video of her doing over 220? I have a PR in that of 220 for 1 right now. And I weigh probably 85 lbs more than her. I'm around 210-215 right now. And I struggle to get 195 for 1 sometimes. Yet again my right elbow is messed up so I don't know how much of a difference this causes.
But does anyone know what type of foods professional sprinters are eating to get this strong? I need to eat whatever they are eating. I really need some PRs right now at the track and gym and feel kind of stuck at the same speed and weight in everything. Yet again I have an actual job and I don't have millions of dollars to just sleep in everyday and train twice a day or 4 times per week. I'm usually tired from working by the time I get to the gym.
What are some good muscle building foods? One mistake I think i'm making is i'm eating too much fat such as too much peanut butter and butter and stuff like that instead of protein. But I don't feel up for eating steak all of the time. Just not hungry for it all of the time.
Or is this just genetics? Does she have just a higher natural testosterone level or something? How is she able to develop an upper back like that? That's crazy. And no i'm not hinting towards anything unnatural. She seems natural in my opinion. I'm just trying to figure out how to build more muscle naturally.
Should I eat more yams or something? Or certain vitamins? I don't take a multi-vitamin. Do professional sprinters take multi vitamins?
