What Adam Fogg(aka Fogg Dogg) has done over the past few weeks is the most impressive feat I have seen in awhile. Adam has ascended from a mid level pro athlete to putting himself into the conversation of an olympian with a chance of making a team to making an olympic final. I remember him running post covid and seeing all his podcasts and as he struggled to make it to an Ncaa final. I know he had an appenedix rupture just as as his senior season at Drake University came to an end. I followed some of his pods over the last 18 to 24 months but my interest in the Fogg-Dogg got peaked a few weeks ago as he won a qualifier for the Wanamaker miler. He ran 3:53.xx to get his invite for todays race. He then took his racing to a whole new level by running a 3 to 4 second pr in the mile to a 3:49.62 in placing 4th in the Wanamaker mile at Milrose. Congrats to him and his coach(not for sure who is coaching him).. Fogg-Dogg had some serious bite today...
