Many of us logged on (or tried) an hour early it seems. I definitely saw 7.40pm CET somewhere. Good I saw this page. If it’s now 8.40pm CET, it means that the men’s 1500m with Nordas won’t be broadcast on the WA site. Disappointing.
EN : It really felt comfortable and it was nice to practice some race tactics, and that went well. Today was not about running a good time, but about taking the win, so I’m very happy. I am aiming for Glasgow, but still have to run the British Champs next week first. They will take the winner from the nationals and one non-automatic qualifier to the Worlds, but I feel comfortable to make the team. It’s at home in Glasgow, so that’s very cool. World Indoor Championships are maybe not important for everyone, but if it’s at home, you want to perform. And apart from that, I would never slip away a World Championship medal.
We only missed the ‘B’ W 400. Bol and Klaver will be shown.
Not saying he would have challenged the top 2, but Nordas should learn that slagging off the back early isn’t a good idea indoors. He was 12th at 500m.
