Who do you think will place first and second at indoor nationals this March?
E.g predictions for the mile: 1) Olivia markezich 2) maia ramsden
5k: 1) Parker valby 2) seems fairly open for 2nd place- Hilda from Alabama?
I'd bet Markezich does DMR/3000 and not the mile. But many choices to be made. Does OSU keep Roe and DMR or have her run 5000? Does Ramsden try mile/DMR double? Same thing for Asekol. Does Valby even run the 3000?
I am starting to wonder if she is even running nationals. Why would she sit out the entire regular season after BU? I don't think anyone except redshirts and injured runners have done that.

If you go to a thread titled “is Parker Valby update” tons have posters have weighed in on this. I believe she should not run indoors, others say why not run. One poster stated she will run because Florida could win the title.

The only reason she ran in Boston was to get her 5k qualifier and she implied then that she isn't running again until nationals. 100% she is running. How well she'll perform after 3 months off is another question.
Asekol and May did not even make the 1500m outdoor final . O'Sullivan, Barnett, Whittaker have not qualified for indoors, and Appleton is on the bubble. How the tables turn.
Imho Ramsden is the favorite. Best PR and she can kick too.
I'd think Ramdsen, Asekol, May, Foerster may all run the mile so I'd favor Markezich at this time assuming she is healthy. Funny (I think) she is not listed on DMR today

well maybe not - that must have been her on DMR anchor 4:22

In a couple interviews Olivia Markezich has said she is doing the DMR/3000 double, like last year. She loves the team aspect of the DMR... and without her, ND has no chance for points!
It just does not seem right that they give a 7 second adjustment on a 5000 at JDL. I have nothing against her, but that much adjustment while running 37.5 laps? 15:32.7 ==> 15:25.6
