The 800 event still has me confused on how to best approach it, I'm thinking of at the moment just copying and pasting what Vigil suggests unless there's some criticism of his methods for that event?
I've read a few threads on the 800 but a lot of what's written is confusing. People have kindly contributed what look like great workouts, but when they type out 200 reps in 27 or something, they're not citing what percentage of what pace should be run at and what the rest periods should be between reps/sets.
A 27 for some distance kids may be close to flat out so I doubt it's being suggested that an athlete run 8x200's at 100% so any clarification on percentage of pace on those posts would help a lot.
