Has anyone bought Vaporflys or other racing shoes on Ebay before? Pairs can be had for around $200. Curious if anyone can speak to their authenticity or being real/fake.

I bought a pair of Alphafly 1 this last summer ~$140. At the time, there was free authenticity check. I believe that I received a legitimate product because I had another pair bought straight from Nike to compare to. However, I'd be leary of purchasing any super shoe from eBay. Especially at closer to full price.
A) If they're legit they will have an EBay "authenticity guarantee;" and
B) Check to ensure the seller has good reviews.
I generally wouldn't buy carbon plated racing shoes from EBay without the above.
That's what everything I'm looking at has. Authenticity guaranteed, seller rating of over 99% with thousands of sales. Prices of $200, which doesn't seem "too good to be true."
Ebay is excellent for buying spikes and such - there's plenty of older high-end models floating around for ~$60. My issue with most of the super-shoe listings is that many are sold used and it's hard to determine how much mileage is actually on the shoe. But it's definitely a good way to buy shoes for cheaper.
I buy all my shoes and sports clothing on eBay.….always cheaper than retail .
very little fake stuff on EBay. Most sellers are legit.
obviously if it’s too cheap to be true , then you can question the authenticity. But i am sure they are vaporflys on eBay for like 100 and it’s a legit purchase.
I’ve bought all my Nike aero swift split shorts there for like 40 bucks instead of 90 retail…they came with the paper tags too.
I’ve only bought super shoes on eBay for this reason. They're consistently $80-100 less than retail. But only with authenticity guarantee, like others have already said. They’re legit
Yes, 7 or 8 pairs by now, never had an issue
Search shoes on GOAT.com first. Theyll at least authenticate the shoe prior to purchase.
I got my first ever pair of vaporfly’s used for $135 with not a lot of wear. You can find some really good deals if you know what to look for, I like to look mostly for how compressed the midsole is and how worn/bottomed out the outsole is. Be careful though, I don’t really trust listings where the images of the shoe are pulled straight off the Nike website or some other stock photos from another online shoe store. Hope this helps
