When I was age 28 I trained all cold winter on treadmill and won the Gothenburg Sylvester race on new years eve 10, 55 k with a tough hill in the middle in time 31:27 !! I was in the greatest shape of my life but was unlucky to get severe injury kept me away 3 years from elite training/ racing.
