Definitely not. That's typically the time period where you can start to make jumps like that too.

You will run what you run. Nobody can guess what effects puberty and training will have. You might plateau at 2:00 or become a 1:52 guy. Do the work and hope for the best..
Definitely possible.
That's a fairly natural progression. It's not just getting stronger aerobically, but the experience of running more 800s will help get you there. Also, don't be afraid to go for it even if you crash and burn once in a while.
I went from 2:09 to 1:53 from sophomore to junior year, so definitely not unrealistic.
No. I ended my sophomore year at 2:02 and ended my junior year at 157.1

Went from 2:14 Jr yr to 1:53 sr yr hs to 1:46 3 yrs later. So no
puberty is a magical thing.
