Here's the deal: The last time I bought a pair of spikes was way back in 1990, in high school.
After 3.5 years of marathon training, I'm looking to buy a new pair. Goal races are 1500 to 10,000, though I'll probably go with flats for the 10. So I'll basically be using these for speed work and racing up to 5k.
What should I look for when choosing spikes? Model names won't help much, since I don't live in America and Kennedy's, Miler's etc. are not available. I've checked out the Zoom Rival MD but I'm not quite sure. So my question is what do I need to check when trying out these shoes, except for basic comfort and fit?
Thanks.
