I'm glad you didn't try to separate or elevate the mixed or women's relay at Budapest. That's like an entry in horse racing. The freeze frame on the mixed video is interesting because it shows how Bol has been able to avoid serious injury despite falling on her pace 3 times in the past 5 years. At least she instinctively braces the fall by extending her arm with palm outstretched. Consequently it has been the same thing all 3 times, a minor whiplash with slight facial injury but nothing requiring hospitalization or missing a race.
My only quibble would be that, "just the next guy," is a far superior and more memorable quote than, "I am the pacemaker." Both define Jakob but "next guy" is best evidence toward how he thinks. Likewise the next segment of that interview when he grinned and said the Ethiopian guys, "did the best they could," in the 5000.
