Other observations. The females there are hot: Pole vaulters, distance runners, sprinters, etc. Not necessarly in that order.
How bad would Lisa Barber kill you in bed? Now we find out she has a twin sister. That's scary.

What's wrong with Terrance Trammel? I didnt get to watch the meet because my damn cable was out this afternoon.

you must be a distance runner because dude...
(in general)
pole vaulters--bah-day, all day
sprinters--bah-day, all day
distance girls--um, flat, straight and narrow.
shot put is awesome, why you gotta hate?
True, when you see a really good shot put competition, nothing beats it. Two men besting each other, one after the other, playing a game of "what every you can do, I can do better."
Wow, that gets exciting. Your missing out if you don't at least watch a shot competition once.
It's just the same stupid thing over and over. One guy throws the shot, yells, no one can tell who is leading until some 90 year old guy measures it. It never changes.
Terance Tramell is full of himself and I am so sick of hearing how he is so great at the hurdles and the sprints. Just bring out some decent sprinters and he will get killed.
The usual inaccurate, immature comments.
Trammel is an Olympic Double medalist!!!
You just now figured out that there are two Barbers. Get with the game. Just for that I discount anything that you say about track and field.
What's wrong with Terrance? All he did was--in a span of about 15 minutes--run the fastest time in the world in the 60H AND the third fastest time in the world in the 60m. Scott beat him by a whopping 0.01 second in the sprint.
I guess what's "wrong" is that he demonstrates just how far behind the distance runners are.
Trammell, while not being the most photogenic human being and running for a show company most people have never heard of, is a very talented athlete. He's run 10.0- for 100m and has twice won Olympic medals. He's very underrated. He's a big meet guy that always comes up big at the big meets, he might not win them, but he's always up there.

How can he be "underrated" when they don't stop talking about him? Ralson was so busy giving him a b******* that he didn't even know one of the guys in the 60 final at all. Does he memorize their crap or shouldn't he have notes on everyone?
Well, it is true that Trammel is consistently one of the top 5 hurdlers in the world year after year. So it's not like the guy isn't talented and valuable to USA track. However, he is a little full of himself. He keeps making himself out to be a sprint star. But he never does ANYTHING outdoors in the sprints. When Trammel wins a 100m race at any of the outdoor meets, then he can talk about being a threat in the sprints. My dollar says he won't. He's getting old.
If you have a new guy or a college guy without an agent who has a breakthrough performance to qualify, and he doesn't have (much of) a bio to provide to the race director, there might not be any notes to provide to the press. These things do happen, but it would have been better all around if Ralson had kept his mouth shut about not knowing anything about the guy.
I'm a distance runner, and I love watching the shot. I'm amazed at how goofy throwers are, but for those moments when they throw the shot, they are so intense and focused. I love it.

I noticed in the women's race he had someone he didn't know anything about and just said her name, that would have been the smart move in the men's race as well. He sounded like an ass saying he needs to introduce himself to him and he doesn't know anything about him.
The shot put competition was exciting. The rest of the meet was nap time. I can't believe how boring the women's races (mid-distance) have gotten since Regina an Suzy are gone. Teter, Toomey, Peachy not there either, yawn.
and Joetta Clark was an exciting competitor.
I must have missed the exciting part, although I watched the entire meet.
If I remember correctly, Trammell ran a good time and won one of the early outdoor meets last year. However, after that, Powell showed up and they never seemed to find room for him to run the 100 again.

She would grab hold and not let go until she finished having her way with you. Gr-r-r-r-ow!

I am a former shot putter and feel the same way about distance running. You watch the same, slow Americans jog around a track endlessly with little to no excitement. While I can appreciate the work ethic of good distance runners, I have a hard time watching all the jogging (so I don't). If you don't like the throwing, buy a TIVO and fast forward through it.
