I see a few people saying he is taking test/steroids, but would these actually help you in a marathon situation?
He reminds me of the sort of guy who would take about 15 different grey zone performance enhancing things, and with his background and contacts it's probably happening. But I'm not sure what sort of things he would take.
If you are a serious runner weighing around 140, and have a marathon pb of 2:50-3:07, but dismiss what he does as purely drugs, then let's see it. You won't get tested either. If drugs work as well as you say, then you should easily crack 2:20...bet ya can't.

Not sure why you're directing this at me, I'm 155 lbs and marathon pb of 2:25 FYI. No one is denying that he puts in the work, but he is running extremely fast for someone of 190lbs. The reality is if he was totally natural then he would probably need to drop atleast 20 lbs to run that fast.
