Well I think that you have the impression of them that you have because you don't really know them on a personal level, they don;t have a lot of friends but once you get to know them they are actually pretty nice, true-they are a little on the arrogant side and they may give off an unfriendly vibe but they're cool. Just give them a chance.

there is a lot of weird sh*t on letsrun, but this is really strange........you put up a post because you're angry that some guys you don't know didn't talk to you at a race? i think you just might be crazy.

Try to comprehend this: Maybe, just maybe, these guys go to races for reasons other than socializing and getting free food at the post-race party.

All I'm saying is that it wouldn't kill them to act like normal human beings, and the bald guy with those ridiculous looking lime-green shorts, I couldn't control myself when I saw him wearing them not once- but twice in a row. They are jerks, and I'm not the only one who thinks so, I dont' know how good they are with their customers at the running stores they work out, which is kind of sad but that's not the point, but they are just plain mean.

Well, FYI - most of these guys that work at shops and try to train seriously get sick of chumps like you busting on them for not having "real jobs" (not everyone has a PhD like you) and bugging them with dumbass questions whlie their trying to warm up, etc.

They have no obligation to hang out with you because you ran the same race one time.

Stansky, I'm with you, those guys suck, their attitude sucks and the running results I saw are weak too.

Not sure why everyone is coming to their defense because the eugene group acts like a bunch of idiots and a-holes everywhere they go.

And they certainly dont help the running stores they work in because their attitude cant be bringing in any extra business.

I think perhaps some of the team Eugene guys have posted....probably the ones calling you "gay" just to get the heat off them.There's cliqueish A-holes almost everywhere you go though.

I don't run for Team Eugene; however I happen to know and like many of the members including the fellow you bash unfairly (the bald one). He is a great guy. He's a gentleman, probably one of the kindest people out there.

It is unfair to judge people you don't know and to

misrepresent who they are to the rest of the world when you don't know them.

team eugene= okay runners + not so nice attitudes

I am actually a little offended by your bashing of balld people. Prejudice against bald people is the last acceptable hatred in society today.

Just subsitute "black" or "mexican" or "Jewish" where you wrote bald and you will see how hateful your comments are. Your constant judging of people based on how they look is wrong and the root of so much evil in our society today.

unlike stansky I actually have hung out with these guys at a few races.They're actually pretty down to earth dudes who hold down full time jobs or go to school while runnin hundred mile weeks.get over your low self esteem and talk to em sometime. As for the bald guy you speek of I'd like to see him ride in on his harley and smash you like the sh*t talking maggot that you are.

Since some Eugene guys will no doubt read this thread -- what's Nick Smith up to? I looked at the Team Eugene website and he's not listed as a member anymore, was wondering what he's doing.
