Great preview JG.
Kandie might be the second greatest tease of all time, behind Tadese. I wouldn't be shocked to see him miss 2.10 again this Sunday.
Chep 202:30 ftw
I hope not ha. New York is a tough course to debut on and apparently he came in hurt. Having run 57:40 you’d think at the very least he can come through half feeling great and hopefully the wheels don’t come off.
Great job Letrun for NOT mention Daniel Nascimento s name. Hopefully he win and make you guys look like dumb asses. GO NASCIMENTO!!!! #10
Fauble should be at 60th now because John Hakizimana of Rwanda is banned for doping.
Haftom Welday of Germany (currently 63rd) might have the potential to hit the standard with a more conservative approach to Hamburg where he went with lead group in low 2:04 race.
Sondre Moen is racing Fukuoka same day and he's currently 64th (including Hakizimana) with 1:00:20 and 2:10:23.
The OTHER Men's Debutant Stephen Kipror is interesting, he ran 58:42 at 20 Years Old (Born in 1999) for the Half Marathon in 2019 apparently did not race until October 2023 and got 11th in 59:32 in The Half Marathon this will be his 2nd race since 2019, 59:32 does not scare the top people in this race, but 58:42 at 20 years old and running 59:32 after not racing at all for 4 years shows a World of potential still only 24, the fact he is running this loaded race shows he is a go getter who is jumping into deep waters with both feet, he probably sees himself running a good one, and no one is talking about him.
Stephen Kiprop did DNF The London Marathon (His only attempt at the Marathon) in 2019 so, not his Debut, sort of
He was a pacer in London 2019:
Impressive resilience, hope he does well
Thank You for the Correction
whichever way I slice or dice it, I can’t see Leul getting beat here
Cheptegei second, then Geay
Is Camille French (Buscombe) racing?

What style? Starting a marathon at an unsustainable pace and collapsing with more than 10k to finish?
daniel 1st, Chep 2nd, KAndie 3rd
