Hi I am seeking advice to be able to non stop jog for a distance of 2.5 miles. I currently can only sprint 2/10ths of a mile any suggestions?
1. Slow down, you will already be able to run much further than 0.2 miles if you aren't sprinting.
2. Get more running in per outing by using intervals. Try running for one or two minutes, then walking for a minute, then starting up running again. Look up the Galloway method.
3. Be consistent, start out at 3-4 times per week and consider increasing after a couple weeks if that feels okay. Don't make the mistake of doing too much too soon, which inevitably causes injury.
