high school boys love double t's
Thanks for sharing that article, very interesting! I would say the consensus would seem to be against implementing double T early in high school. It’s highly likely that runners of that age are not aerobically developed enough to handle that stimulus without burn out or injury. Especially since hs kids tend to race workouts and then will turn it into double V02! It’s definitely all the rage right now, but I would skew more toward a single threshold session, maybe done twice per week, instead of Double T. Curious to hear others thoughts!
