I’m in my senior year of high school and throughout the xc season that just ended I ripped a couple of 6:40 ish average paced long runs for 12 miles which were mostly just normal runs with countdowns at the end. I’ve never raced a half but I’m assuming my time would be a decent bit under 1:30. I’m not running in college but I was thinking about training for some decent marathon times. Anyways I know nothing about marathon training and I was just wondering how long something like a 2:50 would take to train for. I know everyone is different or whatever but I’m just looking for peoples opinions.
