I'm not sure how safe Liam is. Matthias Kyburz will have pushed him down and probably safe to assume Marc Scott will too at London.
He’s currently ranked 70 with a field size of 80. Even if 3 British athletes hit standard in London (unlikely) he would still be ranked high enough to be in the quota.
The only way Liam's missing out on top 80 is if another Aussie runs a qualifying time. There's not that many fast marathons left in the qualifying period and most of the guys running fast times are from countries that already have three qualified.

There are already 2 Brits (Sesemann and Cairess) so only 1 spot available there. Don't see too many others with a chance but maybe Dario Ivanovski (North Macedonia, 2:08:26) in Rotterdam and Daniel Paulos (Namibia, 2:08:40) in Vienna
Yes Tim Vincent's moon-shot yesterday at Daegu didn't come through. Tom Do Canto is perhaps going to go for it in Ballarat? Andy is the most likely to run 2.08 but it's a tough ask. Liam is currently in 70th place on points, hard to see him dropping 10 places? Would love Liam to get in again...a bit of a F U to AA etc.
Tom Do Canto is capable, but no way is he going to Ballarat to chase the time.
He would've gone back to Europe if he was all in on Paris.
Inside Running today has Tom running Ballarat...he's asked Reece Edwards to pace him at 2:08. Don't think Reece can but would be great to see Tom have a good crack
Ryan's IG has him 'marathon training'...4 weeks ago. So maybe he's having a crack at Hamburg or similar? Hamburg is 28 April and that's Andy's last crack.
Ed Goddard I don't know...he just ran the asics 10km road in Paris in 29.35. A 'workout' ? I can't see him running close to 2.08.
Liam I heard (from Andy on Better with Running pod, 15 March) is entered into Hamburg as a bit of a just in case.

Ryan, minimal chance, but he's a champion of Australian running. He is a much better chance than Ed who's fake training has now become 'workout' fake racing.
