That Dyestat article that has a preview is off the mark.

This is stated:

"Massillon Jackson of Ohio stepped up with a big performance to win the state championship last Saturday at Fortress Obetz and is also in the hunt, led by Eli Ilg."

Mass Jackson isn't even running. There is a "Jackson" listed in the entries but it is a school in Missouri.

I was disappointed to not see Mass Jackson entered. They would have done well. I was also disappointed not to see Lakota West entered to see how Evelyn Prodoehl would have done individually. It's been a long season and while the end of the season meets are great, sometimes they're just too much.

I don't see an Ohio team advancing on the girls or boys side. Jackson probably had the best chance of doing so.

every preview is wrong both mile split and dye stat…..they are highlighting wrong runners with incorrect times. No internal communication for the respective states to confirm accuracy or reality of the previews.

Gableman will do well but Todd is not his only competition. As "Dye stat garbage" noted, don't go on the race reviews at the links above. There is plenty of talent in this meet.

Oh I know. I was just predicting the top 2 finishers. I think these two will battle to the end, and Gabelman's 4:07 speed gets him the dub.

Nalley and Genisio from Illinois both have better chances than Bandukwala (who also has a chance, don’t get me wrong) yet neither were mentioned.

Those two are no joke…..14:00 at detweiler is crazy!!! My son is a stud and never broke 14:30 at Det. I think they are from the same part of the bottom of illinois.
