Hi everyone, me again. I posted about 2 months ago when I was able to achieve a 5k of 17:35 in a solo time trial after running for 2ish months inconsistently. Today I ran a half marathon in 1:19:23, my first half marathon and my first official race. I was proud of my effort and result in my age category, but for this half marathon because of school I never ran more than 55 km per week (30 miles) with some tempos and intervals mixed in sparsely, so I'm hoping to get to 70 km a week by end of October and 80 km a week in the new year. If I do that and hold there for a while, what do you think my performance would be a year from now based on your experience and how long it will take to get to sub 1:10:00 from where I'm at (if ever)?
I plan on doing one tempo, one interval, and one long run a week. Thanks for any advice or feedback.
EDIT: for my first 10k, I ran it in 37:20 while I ran my next 10k in 37:43. Average pace for the run was 3:45/km (6:02/mile)
