Personal trainer trying to humiliate me at the gym with Bruce Springsteen

So at my local commercial gym there aren’t many runners who use the treadmill. Maybe a couple times a week I’ll do treadhill or workouts on the treadmill. Anyway one day the trainer who works there put on Born to Run and said this one is for you. I smiled politely even though I thought the joke was a little corny. Now he consistently puts on Born to Run and sometimes makes jokes about it and says my name and says this song is for you. Other people have noticed. I’m really exhausted of dealing with this, and he possibly ruined the song for me. How do I tell this man to knock it off? He didn’t listen the first time I said something. What do I do?

Perhaps but good intentions only go so far. I can think of many good intention things that don’t come out that way to others. The fact is he keeps laughing about it and practically announcing it at the gym. Further I don’t consent to get his motivation. I’m not paying him nor have I ever paid him.

No he doesn’t. That is not true. However it sucks when you keep getting the song played to you.
