I may be misremembering or looking back with rose tinted glasses but I feel like he was viewed in a positive light by most of this message board during the COVID era, perhaps even almost as well liked as Bekele.
I think all the doping speculation and talk really took off after he ran 2:01:09 in Berlin last year, and questions about his character / GOAT status hit a new high after Boston.
Now, in light of Kiptum's recent exploits and shifting media perceptions, it seems like his image has really taken a hit.
Thoughts?
