Never even won a dual meet. 2nd place was the best I ever did and never a threat to ever place high at an invitational. Can't believe I stuck with it when clearly I lacked talent to ever get recognized. Feel like I may have wasted my time. Just have to learn to accept my talent is just not great
Most kids never win a race. What would you have done with your time instead that would have been better?

If only winners would go to races there would be no races.
If you feel like you wasted all your time just to get a ribbon, you have to learn to accept that your level of intelligence is not that high.
