Hi. I'm 30yo, I don't have other sports background but I've started running often in the past 2 years (1200km each year). I'm not satisfied with my results because even after running that long, I was expecting that my body will accommodate to the effort, but it doesn't. My HR is easily going to 185-190bpm, sometimes even in the first km. I get out of breath very fast and I can't really enjoy the run. Even when I'm trying to run at an easy pace, my HR is still high. If it's hot outside, it's even worse.
I've done a stress test at a local clinic and the doctor said that even if the values are high, everything's ok and I can continue running. But for me these values don't look ok. he BP and HR are way too high and I'm not sure if it's healthy for me to keep running and I've read some articles where those high values were linked to a higher possibility of having a stroke.
Other relevant stuff: I'm eating normally, not keeping a diet but also not eating too much junk food. My job is sedentary, I sit for 8-10 hours a day. My parents also have high HR and BP.
What do you think? Thanks.
