wow you have got to be kidding me
I never though I saw the day that someone would pay 300 for a pair of spikes. WOW what has this world come to. I have a pair of these and i paid 45 for them, so u are dumb. They arent made of gold or anything
If they are the original aren't they like 4+ years old? I don't think the shelf life of spikes is too long. I think I heard that after a year or two they start to break down.

Even older than that. They first came out in 1996 (around the Atlanta Olympics) and were sold until about 1998, when the first generation Zoom Kennedy and Ventulus came out. The Jasari Plus (Eastbay exclusive with "pleather" upper) came out around 2002. So if they're originals they're at least seven years old. I don't know about the spike "breaking down" but there are plenty of spikes out there that are just as good (or better) that are much, much less. Three hundred clams is a joke.

The Kennedys came out in 1999, and the Ventulus in 2001. Up until those came out, the original Eldorets were the popular spike. Everyone either wore Jasaris or Eldorets.
