Wouldn’t it be funny if Degrasse won gold again next year?

Funniest outcomes at the Olympics next year:

100m- Marcell Jacobs wins again in 9.85. Lyles starts to slow and Coleman fades at the end

200m- DeGrasse wins, Knighton Silver, Lyles Bronze again

400m- Kirani James shows up with grey hair and wins in 44.30

800m- Emmanuel Korir comes in with a 1:47 seasons best and kicks for the win

1500m- Narve Nordas wins and Gjert Ingebrigsten officially adopts him

5k- Jakob wins again and looks depressed because it’s not the 1500m

10k- Most predicable event. It’ll go Cheptegei, two more Africans, Fisher in 4th, Aregawi in 5th, Moh Ahmed in 6th as is tradition (seriously it’s happened four times already), Kejelcha in 11th, Woody and Joe finish in last and second to last with Woody narrowly outkicking Joe.

Marathon- Nothing too funny, but Kipchoge wins again and is crowned as the greatest ever

Amazing. I think the only better thing for LRC would be Arop winning due to the city where he's from (Edmonton).

Holloway and Lyles are both 3 time world championships who haven't won an Olympic gold yet. It wouldn't surprise me if both of them lost next year.

Once again, LRC's opinion of what's funny is completely lost to the masses.

Degrasse can;t run with Lyles that should be obvious.

Nothing is funny about Degrasse per se, except for his tendency to play spoiler for bigger sprint stars like Lyles, which is HILARIOUS.

Some people are slow.

That's a bit harsh, he is an elder statesman of the 100-200 these days, but clearly has more to give before going to pasture.
