Adidas have unveiled a new supershoe, apparently weighing 138g. That's almost 50g (almost 2 Oz) lighter than the Vaporfly.

Nike have been pioneering, but have been stuck at 4-5% for a while. But it looks like the proverbial next percent belongs to Adidas.

And with it, surely a sub 2 hour marathon maybe coming soon? I mean 2 ounces lighter than the Vaporfly.. Over 26 miles that's going to be a huge difference.

A friend of mine was officiating a high school track meet and some kid was using Vaporflys in the triple jump.
