Centro Jr. has the tattoo "like father like son" on his chest. Does that mean that when he retires that he'll become an all-time great coach like his dad? his dad developed some amazing workouts and methods that revolutionized collegiate training, and he doesn't get enough credit at all. Centro was an assistant coach at UW under the Powells already so I’m assuming he’d get back on that path when he was done.

I honestly think differently, I know of lots of former world class athletes that surprisingly know absolutely nothing about training and flop when they try to coach themselves or others.
Centro doesn’t seem to be that guy. I’ve heard a few interviews where he seems extremely knowledgeable about his training program and what each piece of it does for him. He knows what adjustments to make when things aren’t going his way. He’s also very personable, as well as good at riding the line between confident and arrogant (I personally believe this is a make or break trait for coaches) I think if he wants to be a great coach he will be.
Centro is gonna be the next great American coach. He's incredible

Saw Centro at the 5th Ave Mile last time he ran it. More people wanted a pic with him than with all the other runners combined.
Have also seen him running in Central Park and he’s always been cool.
Nothing but props for Centro.
