I can't imagine running with hair like that, however it's just a short sprint so it's over quick - what really boggles my mind is how Olin Hacker can run 5ks without a headband of some sort.

Guys always run with a chain flopping around too. Rupp for an entire hot marathon. It just makes you feel like a track star probably.

Also, it most certainly would slow her down. There's this thing called air resistance, and when you're travelling at 30km/h plus, you're fighting a lot of it. Any loose garment or hair hanging from you will cause a lot of drag.
