WHAT LEVEL OF COLLEGE CAN MY ATHLETES GO TO?

They can all run Div.III for sure and maybe even Div.II. It is too early to see about Div.I. None of them right now.

My guesses are:

Runner 1: Power 5 School

Runner 2: Power 5, D1

Runner 3: D2

Runner 4: Lower D1 or Upper D2

Runner 5: National Champion Contender or Power 5 School

I mean based on how they improve. 1:59 as a freshman is a D1 time, so is 9:30 as a sophomore.

They have not improved yet. Let us see if you can help them.

15 years and here are my school records, I’ve been head coach since the school opened.

400 - 47.22

800 - 1:50.28

1600 - 4:08.36

3200 - 8:58.40

4x800 - 7:42.09

I am not a coach. So my ego is not at play here. I can spot trolls though.

There was a recent thread that highlighted how hit-and-miss a lot of collegiate coaches / programs are. Also, your listing says nothing about their background before they reached these times. Runner 4, for example, doesn't look quite as good as the others, but if he just started running before his Jr season, ran all of 15m/w, but loves it and goes all-in... whose to say he won't end up being a super-talent and going to a top-tier school as a walk-on?

Also, since you’re not very bright, he says he is in Illinois and those performances do not exist. So you fell for his nonsense.

Looking at these times all of your guys can run NAIA, DII and DIII. They could also all run at lower D1s, the 4:40 kid may have trouble finding a low D1 but if he gets close to 4:30 he most likely could too. As far as MajorD1s (NAU Oregon type schools), right now none of your guys are there yet. That being said that is okay, I ran at a low D1 as a 4:3X guy and ended up a 1:52 800 4:10 mile type. Another thing you should have your guys consider is that it is very easy to get forgotten about at a major D1 school. Many of the guys that were faster than I was in high school ended up with slower Prs then me because they went to programs where they barely made the team and barely got to race. I know many a 4:15-4:20 miler type that didn't pr or barely prd in college because they ran at a program over their head.

whats your email, we cant talk to the kids who arent juniors or seniors but we would take all of them honestly, we are a consistent top 10 finisher in d2 xc over the last 20 years. typically a podium contender every year.

If you have coached 15 years and have those records, you have had dozens of runners go D2 and D3 so you know as much about the landscape as us. Why would you ask the question?
