Hi all! I (25F) have been running for over three years now. I do ~40km per week consistently. My last 5km pb was over a year and a half ago, 19:38. My last half marathon pb was also a year ago, 1hr 34mins. Since then I’ve been working on creating a slower pace (before I’d just do all my runs ~4:30/km, except for the sprints), to improve aerobic capability, but apparently it hasn’t worked and now I’m actually slower!!!
I’d really like to improve these times, but not sure how. Most advice I see written here and plans I come across tend to be aimed towards first time runners, couch to 5km etc. I’ve got a half marathon event coming up in November and I’d really like to do sub 1hr 30.
Does anyone have any advice or know resources for more advanced speed and endurance training? Thanks!
