The drug testers have no interest in busting the white milers just as they had no interest in busting Usain Bolt or Flojo. The sport federations are smart enough to not shoot themselves in the foot. Didnt mean to ruffle any feathers but the idea that a bunch of Africans running fast is an indicator of rampid drug use but a bunch of white guys running sub 3:30 is an indicator of the field becoming more clean is rather naive.

Just dumb analysis on all fronts. These things can be cyclical, British and Americans showed in the 80s and before they can be awesome at the 800/1500. Not really sure how the 1500 is “shockingly white” when the medal mix has Nuguse (Ethiopian-born), Habz and Katir (Moroccan descent), as well as 3 Kenyans. Meanwhile the 800/5000 we don’t even really have to get into. So you’ve cherry-picked one event which has a nice diversity of contenders and isn’t shockingly anything.
