Saucony is closing up their HQ in Waltham by the end of the year. Everyone has to either move to Michigan (Saucony is owned by Wolverine Worldwide, which is based in Michigan) or hit the road!

Google shows nothing about this. Where did you read it?
They should never have replaced the Endorphin 2s with the Endorphin 3s
That has nothing to do with it.
Saucony currently has one of the best portfolios of shoes for distance runners of any company, IMHO. If the 3s are a misfire, it isn't going to dent the bottom line to any significant extent.

saucony has the next best stuff to nike. they aren't going anywhere. haven't heard anything bad about 3's, but that could be because nobody has them. $225 is very steep, and i think most people are just gonna get Nike for that kind of money.

I hope and pray that you are talking about “racing shoes”?
If not you are providing poor advice to your athletes.
Currently Nike is one the worst options for training shoes and Saucony is not far behind.
I believe they're doing awful in sales maybe with the exception of Endorphin Pro 3. Their entire line was/is on sale for $35 per shoes on DSW including Endorphin Pro 2.

What would you recommend? I’m a Nike lifer that’s just not liking the last few iterations of Pegs and Reacts. I’ve literally never run in another brand.

I don't make recs about training shoes. too many different budgets and I only have experience in a few shoes. when kids ask, I tell them I'm thrilled with my endorphin pro 2s, whether I'm running slow or fast, they feel the best.
as far as racing, every high level kid has the same pair of Nikes as everybody else on the track, depending on event
The Pro 3 is Saucony's best shoe as of late next to the Speed 3. They're doing fine. The Pro 4 and Speed 4 are next up and the only head scratcher is the Kinvara Pro which was just a really poor decision to make.

I have the Endorphin Speed 2 and 3. I think the 3 is more comfortable because I believe the toe box is a bit wider but the Speed 2 felt a little faster. I would go with 3s for longer runs due to the toe box comfort but 2 if it was shorter.
Also for the Pros, I have the Pro+ (Pro 2 with track upper) and the 3s. I don't really think there is too much of a difference since the Pro+ already has the better upper.

TLDR; Saucony is on fire
Everyone has mentioned the saucony speeds and pros but none of their other shoes. They made the mistake of making too many models and the majority of them have not been successful. You can’t make all your money on racing shoes
