Anyone taken a break completely from running? Like not just weeks of no running but also taking a break from following the sport, reading the message boards, and following runners on social media? Trying to completely purge running from my mind. Sometimes I feel like I'm too invested in running as a whole and it takes away from my enjoyment so wondering if a temporary but all-encompassing break is something that others have done and worked for. Also curious how such a break would change your mentality about running?
